PERSPECTIVES INTRINSÈQUES

This season’s group exhibition showcases artists whose work revolves around the concepts of exteriority and interiority. Landscapes of seascapes symbolizing the flight toward freedom, where the element of water acts as a guiding thread leading the viewer from the infinite to the meticulous observation of structural elements of living organisms—studies of the infinitely small versus the infinitely large. Our relationship to the world, our lives, play out between perspectives and our inner selves. The featured artists present materials of varying densities that oscillate between transparency and lightness—evoking evanescence—while also creating pieces that are powerful in their relationship to sight and touch.

Clare Dudeney weaves colorful ceramic pieces, playing with materiality and our perception. This weaving, created on a small surface, evokes ancestral practices associated with women, domestic life, and the intimate inner world of traditional household activities. Here, by using ceramics traditionally employed for other objects, the artist crafts a new contemporary narrative and creates a harmony of tones and regular linear forms—each one, yet, distinctly unique.

Camille Pozzo Di Borgo’s world captures, through the monotype technique, marine life that exists below sea level—invisible to humans except when diving—an immersion in the material and an exploration of living elements that are, in their own right, architectural structures with fascinating geometries.

Carla Gimbatti draws on the earth of South America, specifically Patagonia, where she journeys to collect clays that, once in the studio, transform into stones that cling magnetically to the walls in a choreography reminiscent of the surf of the waves.

Antoine Leclercq creates abstract forms inspired by the impulses of life: connections, bodily movements, and the dualities that shape human beings and their aspirations. Bronze and Corten steel give form to his imagination, exploring the human condition at the intersection of body and mind.

In his artistic practice—whether through painting, installation, or performance—Bao Vuong attempts to reconstruct buried memories

In her series of monochromatic black paintings titled “The Crossing,” viewers can see and experience the contemplation of “light in the darkness.” Between presence and absence, smoothness and roughness, imagination and interpretation collide, leaving us face to face with ourselves and our own history. In the distance, the hope of a better future looms.

Elisabet Urpí and Nacho Umpierrez form the creative duo behind ELIURPI, a design studio founded 16 years ago in Barcelona. Their work combines tradition, architecture, and contemporary art to create unique hybrid pieces. Initially known for its sculptural hats, ELIURPI has since expanded its scope to include furniture, lighting, sculptures, and objects of art and design. Raffia steps out of its textile context to emerge as a transparent, fluid sculpture.
Antoine Pierini draws his inspiration from the rich Mediterranean heritage, natural elements, and Greco-Roman culture. Combining glasswork—a millennia-old tradition passed down to us from antiquity—with modern techniques, he offers a contemporary reinterpretation of archaeological relics such as amphorae and reveals a dual-natured world that is at once extraordinarily beautiful, yet enigmatic and ever-expanding. His dreamlike Mediterranean, inspired by Albert Camus’s *La Pensée de Midi*, weaves fundamental connections between human beings and sun-drenched landscapes.

Here, the focus is on embracing the light without succumbing to lukewarm thinking, striking a balance between the technical sophistication of glass art and touches of irony.
