Amélie Chassary
Born in Corrèze in 1980. She lives and works in Gaillac.
Amélie Chassary is a graduate of the Met de Penninghen art school (Paris). Her approach to photography demonstrates the importance of her academic studies.
Since childhood, Amélie has enjoyed strolling among the trees and flowers of. Contemplation and silence have nurtured her artistic inspirations. With a poetic commitment to the environment, the artist speaks of her daily relationship with nature, which has become the privileged subject of her photographs.
She offers us an aesthetic and sensual vision. Bouquets of flowers, composes of fruit and vegetables, assemblages of plants and landscapes are photographed like paintings.
