Overview
Eleonora Strano has been a photographer, filmmaker and journalist for the past ten years, and her work has been exhibited in France and abroad at various art and photography institutions.
Winner of the Prix EMI-CFD and a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Su-
périeure de la Photographie d'Arles, her work has received numerous awards-
. It has been presented at BAL, the Musée de la Photogra-
phie in Mougins and several times at the Photo Vogue Festival in
Milan. In 2019, his work was shortlisted for the Salon Polyptyque and presented at the event “Des
marches, démarches” supported by the Frac PACA, the Espace de l'Art Concret in Mouans-Sartoux, the Cairn in Digne-les-Bains and Le Laboratoire in Grenoble.

Biography
Alongside her work for the press, she devotes her time to developing
visual arts and documentary projects in the South of France, where she benefits from an artist's studio with the city of Nice, and regularly responds to commissions such as those from the Université Nice Côte d'Azur, the Villa Arson and the Académie 5 on biocontrol, or from the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
In 2024, she was a prizewinner in the 2025 Elles&Cité program of the Cité internationale des Arts and the Fondation des artistes, in a duo with composer,
electroacoustic musician, sound artist and photographer Vincent Malassis, with whom she is currently making a film in Miquelon exploring the fragile relation between land and sea, blending reality and fantasy.

Ocean Conference in Nice, the Biennale des Arts et de l'Océan will be presenting Le Chant des Sirènes, a special event combining exhibitions, performances and a listening festival, to be held from May 7 to August 24, 2025 at La Station - in Nice.
